The Lighting of the Sails attracts locals and visitors alike along the harbour front. Rug up, bring your family and friends and get down to Sydney Opera House's forecourt and steps, or find a vantage point from a number of other spots around the Quay. Also launching on the big night is Macquarie Visions: see Macquarie Street's historic buildings lit up in a dazzling light spectacle, starting from St Mary’s Cathedral and down to the Quay.
